Crafty?

Not sure how this picture turned out or how great the craft project is, so here you go... this weekend I spent some time putting together this shadow box in rememberance of my Mom's funeral. Wow, that's still weird to say. Theraputic as well... Anyway. Didn't know I could even tie a bow, but once I started the project, it was something I needed to finish. Mom's favorite color is green, so is mine, so I chose this green ribbon. The flowers are from the ceremony. I just figured if I messed this up, it was only two little ones so I would have more to work with. Throughout all this doubt, this shadow box was created, and surprisingly I think its presentable! You'll have to come see it sometime.

Borski Tradition

Richard and I attended Church at St. Mary's Seminary to winess Will Hunter(our sponsor couple) in one of the steps towards becoming a Deacon. This portion of his journey included his purification to assist in "transubstantiation". Catholic for the transformation of bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ. It was really neat to see the ceremony and take part in such a holy event for so many journeyed to become Deacon's in the Church.
While at St. Mary's Seminary we discovered a sign for Borski's Sports Complex, in honor of Monseigneur Chester Borski! Who knew the Borski's were so famous in the Seminary! Don't know if any of the Pollocks I know are all that athletic, but only by the grace of God.
