New tools!

Grandma Poppy Borski decided to hook Richard up with a new tool set for his Birthday. Now we don't have an excuse to fix the fence, plumbing... etc! Thanks Ya'll!

Richard's Birthday!

We celebrated Richards birthday on Monday the 24th! The three of us had a great time opening presents, cooking steaks, and singing "happy birthday"! Richard loved his new grill utensil set. It really helped out with the cooking.

This is Rowdy singing! Either he is singing along, or he is telling us to stop...

Here is my first attempt at making cheesecake! It was edible : )

Grandma Borski's B-day

We had a great time at Grandma's 83rd b-day party this past Saturday. Richard actually went to the nursing home, believe it or not. He didn't go as far as eat any of the food that was brought but he had a good time visiting with the Borski's.

Grandma looked great. She was dressed up, hair done, and sitting up in the wheel chair. She seemed to have a great time at her party. It us hard to believe she has been in this situation for almost 2 years now. I am just glad that she was feeling good enough to enjoy her birthday.

Anyway here are some pics. First, all the kid, then our family. We were cracking up because Pop was making disgusting potty comments to the poor person trying to take the picture. Never a dull moment with the Borski's

Rowdy's new found Freedom!

We recently installed a doggie door for the Bear! He actually loves it! We never thought we could have one because, A. Rowdy's door would have to be big enough to fit a person, and B. we are not very good at the "do it yourself projects" Although we were reluctant to start this project, we used one of our wedding gift card-home-depot- (thank you Chrissy) and bought the door online. It took one full evening for Richard and I to cut the whole in the door, with the 50 year old circular saw we borrowed from the late-Mr. Rufas Borski- aka Gramp. Richard only almost lost my face and his shin not to mention my face, but we managed to get er done with out and amputations. Next, we had to fit the door. This was a bigger challenge that we expected, so we called in reinforcements(Poppy) and the door was complete in about 15 minutes. He made it look easy! Don't think we will be using these tools again anytime soon. At least not without THE Poppy!
