Vegas Baby!

Went to Vegas for work and brought the two kids along. As you can see, I think they had way too much fun. They won a bunch of money and gave it right back to the state of Arizona by receiving a ticket while heading back from the grand canyon. I'm just glad we all made it back safe. One more Vegas trip down, thankfully no casualties...

Crafty?

Not sure how this picture turned out or how great the craft project is, so here you go... this weekend I spent some time putting together this shadow box in rememberance of my Mom's funeral. Wow, that's still weird to say. Theraputic as well... Anyway. Didn't know I could even tie a bow, but once I started the project, it was something I needed to finish. Mom's favorite color is green, so is mine, so I chose this green ribbon. The flowers are from the ceremony. I just figured if I messed this up, it was only two little ones so I would have more to work with. Throughout all this doubt, this shadow box was created, and surprisingly I think its presentable! You'll have to come see it sometime.

Borski Tradition

Richard and I attended Church at St. Mary's Seminary to winess Will Hunter(our sponsor couple) in one of the steps towards becoming a Deacon. This portion of his journey included his purification to assist in "transubstantiation". Catholic for the transformation of bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ. It was really neat to see the ceremony and take part in such a holy event for so many journeyed to become Deacon's in the Church.
While at St. Mary's Seminary we discovered a sign for Borski's Sports Complex, in honor of Monseigneur Chester Borski! Who knew the Borski's were so famous in the Seminary! Don't know if any of the Pollocks I know are all that athletic, but only by the grace of God.

Christmas Day

Despite the obvious dark clouds hanging over the Borski Ranch, Christ overcame. Christmas day was " OK" Richard, Papi and I made the best of it, by cooking a couple of hams, pork chops, chicken, gumbo and many other things. Enough to feed an army or two. Richard and I actually came across a black widow when digging through some wood for a bonfire... Pic to come. We all stayed warm by Richards kerosene, oil and liter fluid induced fire and watched as "donkey boy" danced around. To explain, Deno and Leroy gave us a picture of Richard riding a very stubborn donkey. You really had to be there. Thanks for the laughs and for keeping us all in good humor. We love you Richard, and don't know what we would do with out you suggie.

Saucier Christmas

Saucier

Christmas was a blast. I love my new family and my new last name. We are so lucky to be blessed with two families who are so supportive and loving.

We started the weekend at the Richards parents. We met Brooks boy-friend for the first time. He got along well with everyone including the protective older brother : ) . We ate a lot of great food and had a ton of great conversation. What a wonderful Christmas!
